Lorex - Internal Photographs of LBV2723B
We had intruder spot and take out a Lorex LBV2723B bullet camera. The camera was left behind, but there was damage to the wiring harness - it had been pulled out of the back of the camera.
Lorex offers no replacement parts. Some wires were bare, but most still had the crimp tabs in place. With a bit of wire splicing and reseating of crimp tabs into a PCB connector it was possible to bring the camera back to life. However, Lorex would not supply a wiring diagram ("for developers only").
A spare camera was dissembled and photos taken of the PCB connectors and their respective color-coded wires. The repair was successful - saving the cost of a replacement camera ($220). This is the same set of boards used in the LEV2712LB dome camera.
Photos attached. Thanks, Lorex!
Lorex Pros: Actually picked up the phone.
